Who we are
Surprise Concrete Co. is a locally operated residential concrete service company based in Surprise, Arizona. Concrete work is performed by licensed, bonded and insured Arizona Registrar of Contractors licensees, whose license number appears on your written estimate and contract as required by A.R.S. § 32-1124.
Estimates
Estimates are free, itemized and valid for 30 days. Prices on this website are typical ranges for planning only; your written estimate governs.
Contracts, deposits and payment
Work begins only after a signed written contract. A deposit may be required to schedule; the balance is due on completion unless the contract says otherwise. Change orders are priced in writing before extra work starts.
Permits and HOA approval
We identify and, where included in the estimate, obtain required City of Surprise or Maricopa County permits. HOA architectural approval is the homeowner's responsibility; we supply the drawings and specifications needed for the submittal.
Warranty
Workmanship is warranted in writing on every job for the period stated in your contract. Concrete naturally develops minor shrinkage cracking and color variation; the warranty covers defects in workmanship, not normal characteristics of concrete, damage from settlement caused by water or landscaping changes after completion, or misuse. Arizona's Residential Contractors' Recovery Fund provides additional protection for homeowners as described at roc.az.gov.
Site conditions
The homeowner is responsible for marking private utilities (irrigation, low-voltage, pool lines); we call Arizona 811 for public utilities. Access for equipment and concrete trucks must be available on the scheduled day.
