What this site can't promise

General guidance for Surprise homeowners, not an inspection of your property.

General, not specific

Two driveways can show the same crack and need entirely different fixes. The soil and how wet it sits, how the sub-base was built, where water drains, tree roots, slab thickness, the reinforcement inside, and how old the pour is: all of it changes the answer. Nothing here evaluates your site, offers an opinion on soils or engineering, or recommends anything for your property in particular. Only a visit settles the question: repair it, lift it, or replace it.

Prices on the pages

The dollar figures on service pages and guides are ranges meant for planning, drawn from typical jobs in Surprise and across the West Valley. They aren't quotes and nothing about them is guaranteed. Permits, truck access, the finish, drainage, sub-base, excavation and haul-off, thickness and square footage all move the number. The price is whatever your written estimate says.

Pictures

The photographs are illustrations. They show the sort of conditions and work the text talks about. None is offered as before-and-after proof of a particular customer's project in Surprise.

Outcomes

We can't promise a result. How a slab holds up over the years comes down to drainage, soil movement, what the slab carries, the weather, and upkeep like sealing and keeping water off the edges. The warranty that counts is the one inside the agreement you and the contractor sign. A manufacturer's warranty has terms of its own and may need to be registered.

Whose crews

Independent contractors carry out every project this site brings in. The arrangement, and how they're paid, is spelled out in our referral marketing disclosure.

Outside links

Links to other sites are there for convenience. We don't control what's on them and can't vouch for its accuracy.

Mistakes

We try to keep every page current. Details still change and errors creep in. Spot something wrong or stale? Tell us and we'll fix it.

If it's urgent

A slab that dropped without warning, a retaining wall that's bowing, or ground opening into a hole: keep cars and people away. If gas, water or power lines might be involved, phone 911 or the utility before anyone else. Then ring us, or ring a structural engineer.

This page was last revised in September 2026. If any of it reads unclear, ask first, then decide about your slab. Email hello@surpriseconcreteco.com or phone (623) 624-8531 and we'll come back to you.
